A Configural analysis of MMPI profile in schizophrenia

Abstract
|

|
In order to test the discriminative power of configural analysis technique we have administered MMPI to the 200 hospitalized schizophrenia. Based on the individual index scores we obtained ScL, AI, IR indices.
It has been found that ScL index is very effective to discriminate the schizophrenic symptoms and signs.
The high ScL score group showed high score in Al than the low group.
The internalization tendancy of the high schizophrenic symptom group was stronger than the low schizonphrenic symptom group.
It have been also found that the internalized; tendarcy of the low educated patients was higher than the more educated patients.
